Dividends Declared for October  1, 2011

Your Credit Union Board of Directors has declared the dividend rates to be  paid October 1, 2011. Because of the current interest rate environment, and the lower  return  we  are  getting on our investments, we have had to lower our dividend rates.    PRR remains  financially  strong, and that allows us to pay some of the  highest rates in the area.  We  are pleased to announce that our assets as  of 08/31/2011 were  $42,050,679.49  with reserves of $6,101,618.61.   Our  Capital  Ratio  stands strong  at  14.51%.

Your Credit Union Will be Closed Monday, July 25, 2011

In our continuing efforts to serve you better, PRR will be upgrading our computer system. This will be taking place Saturday, July 23rd, Sunday, July 24th, and Monday July 25th. Your credit union office will be closed on Monday, July 25th so that we will be able to test all electronic and day to day processing, and be ready to serve our members on Tuesday, July 26th. During that time, Online Banking will not be accessible. Tuesday we will be open our regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience.

Member Appreciation for 75 Years to be held August 12, 2011

Mark your calendars for Friday, August 12, 2011. We would like to invite you, the members of PRR South Fork FCU, to stop in the credit union office for hot dogs, chips, and soda. 12th Annual PRR Golf Tournament Scheduled for September 24th

The 12th Annual PRR Golf Tournament will be held at the Ebensburg Country Club on Saturday, September 24th 2011. Please arrive by 12:30 p.m. There will be a 1:00 Shot Gun start. The cost will be $55.00 per person, which includes green fees, cart, meal and on course refreshments. Your registration form and payment is due by August 25, 2011, and can be dropped off at the credit union office. Because of the current interest rate environment, and the lower return we are getting on our investments, we have had to lower our dividend rates. PRR remains financially strong, and that allows us to pay some of the highest rates in the area. We are pleased to announce that our assets as of 05-31-2011 were $42,130,709.65. with reserves of $6,064,260.64 Our Capital Ratio stands strong at 14.40%. of the current interest rate environment, and the lower return we are getting on our investments, we

CHANGES TO OUR FUNDS AVAILABILITY POLICY

When you opened your account with us, you received our Funds Availability Policy which identified when items deposited to an account became available to be withdrawn in cash and to pay checks that you have written.  Because of changes in the manner the Federal Reserve System processes checks, we were required to amend our Funds Availability Policy.  This only applies to the availability of funds in transaction accounts (share draft/checking). The effect of this amendment is that in some instances checks presented for deposit may be available to you more quickly than would have occurred previously; in no instance will the change result in availability being delayed longer.  This will benefit members as there will no longer be a designation of a “non-local check” which created a longer processing time.  Same Day Availability of Funds, longer delays due to certain circumstances, rules for new accounts and all other policies will remain the same as disclosed in our Check Clearing and Funds Availability Policy.  A copy of our policy is posted in our lobby, and available upon request.
